Jackrabbit Class is good software with a twenty-year track record — and a bill that climbs every time your roster does, including students who left. Prodigy Suite does the same job — registration, rosters, attendance, auto-pay tuition — for one flat price that tops out at $79.99.
Jackrabbit's price follows your student count. Prodigy Suite's follows your plan — and stops at $79.99.

Card processing on the tuition you collect is Stripe's standard rate (2.9% + 30¢ in the US), charged by Stripe into your own account — Prodigy Suite adds nothing on top. Jackrabbit processes payments through Jackrabbit Pay; their rates are quoted on request.
Everything here is taken from each company's public website. Where we could not verify something, we say so.

So nobody finds out after switching: there is no SMS texting (families get automatic email), no per-studio app-store app, no recital or costume planning, no ticketing, and no staff payroll. If any of those is a deal-breaker today, Jackrabbit is the safer choice and we would rather you knew now.
You can run both systems for a month if you would rather move slowly. Nothing about the switch is irreversible.
Pull your families and students to CSV from your Jackrabbit account.
Drop the CSV on the Integrations page. Growth includes hands-on import help; on Unlimited we do the whole migration for you.
Recreate your classes once, then send families the registration link. Parents add their own card — card numbers cannot legally move between systems, on any platform.
Pick the day of the month. Auto-pay collects, the unpaid list shows who is left, and you stop chasing.
For registration, rosters, waitlists, attendance, auto-pay tuition, statements, skills tracking, certificates, private lessons, a front-desk store and lead follow-up — yes, and those are all in every plan. For branded app-store apps, SMS, recitals, ticketing and payroll — no, not today. The comparison above lists both honestly.
No sales team, no implementation fees, no per-student metering, and Stripe handles the money so we do not run a payments business on the side. The trade-off is real: we are newer, we have fewer integrations, and phone support is on the Unlimited plan only.
Their published billing policy bases the monthly fee on the total number of active and inactive students in the system. Prodigy Suite counts students with an active enrollment only. Check Jackrabbit's current policy with them — it can change.
Yes, on any switch between any two systems — saved card details are held by the payment processor and cannot be exported. Families add a card once in the parent portal; it takes them about a minute and you can see who has and has not from the auto-pay list.
Every list exports to CSV on every plan, there is no notice period, and tuition lives in your own Stripe account, so nothing about your money depends on us. Cancel from the billing page whenever you like.
