Prodigy Suite is class management and tuition billing for studios. It is built, run and supported by Ted Kam Consulting Ltd, a small software company in Ontario, Canada. We are not a venture-backed platform with a sales team between you and the product — the people who write the software are the people who answer the email.

Ted Kam Consulting Ltd builds vertical software — narrow, self-serve tools aimed at one kind of small business at a time, rather than one general platform that fits everybody badly. Prodigy Suite is the product aimed at businesses that teach in classes: dance, music, martial arts, gymnastics, swim and tutoring.
Everything we run sits on the same foundation: Google Firebase for accounts and data, Stripe for payments, static hosting, and no servers of our own to misconfigure. That is deliberate. It keeps our operating cost low enough to charge studio-sized prices and still be here in five years, and it means the security work we do once protects every product we ship.
Why we built it
Studio software tends to fail in one of two directions. Either it is a general-purpose booking or invoicing tool that has never heard of a term, a sibling discount, a make-up class or a recital — so the real work moves back into spreadsheets and group chats — or it is a long-established platform that charges enterprise money, quotes by phone, and bills for features a single-site studio will never use.
Prodigy Suite is built for the studio in between: enrollment, attendance, families, tuition and automatic billing in one place, priced by how many students you actually teach. That is why our plans differ by student count rather than by locking features away, why the price is printed on the site, and why you can set the whole thing up without booking a call with us.
How we work
- Ship narrow, then deepen. We would rather handle enrollment, attendance and tuition properly than add a shallow version of everything.
- Publish the price. Plans and their limits are on the pricing page. No quote process and no per-seat surprise.
- Your data is yours. Records export to CSV, and we will help you bring data across from the system you are leaving. We do not sell customer data or use your studio's records to train anything.
- Children's records get extra care. Medical notes, emergency contacts and rosters are limited by role, enforced on the server rather than by hiding buttons. The detail is on our security page, including the certifications we do not hold yet.
- No invented proof. If you do not see testimonials, studio logos or user counts on this site, it is because we will not publish numbers we cannot stand behind. When real studios are willing to be quoted, they will appear here and not before.
