Studio Pro's $49 plan is a fair deal — until you want lead follow-up, staff permissions or two-way messaging, and the price becomes $79 or $165. Prodigy Suite puts every feature in every plan except one — only multiple locations needs a step up — starting at $19.99, with tuition landing in your own Stripe account.
Both companies charge a flat monthly fee. Studio Pro's tiers unlock features. Prodigy Suite's tiers only change the student cap.

Card processing on the tuition you collect is Stripe's standard rate (2.9% + 30¢ in the US), charged by Stripe into your own account — Prodigy Suite adds nothing on top.
Everything here is taken from each company's public website. Where we could not verify something, we say so.

So nobody finds out after switching: there is no in-app chat, no per-studio app-store app, no recital or costume planning, no ticketing and no Zapier. A dance studio that lives on recital season should probably stay with Studio Pro, and we would rather you knew now.
You can run both systems for a month if you would rather move slowly. Nothing about the switch is irreversible.
Send your classes to Excel with the enrolled students, and your parents to Excel. Two files carry your families, students and who is in which class.
Drop both files on the import page. Studio Pro's columns are recognised by name, you see exactly what will be created before anything is written, and the whole import can be undone. Growth includes hands-on help; on Unlimited we do it for you.
Studio Pro does not export days, times or tuition, so give each imported class its schedule and price once. Then send families the registration link. Parents add their own card — card numbers cannot legally move between systems, on any platform.
Pick the day of the month. Auto-pay collects, the unpaid list shows who is left, and you stop chasing.
For registration, rosters, attendance, auto-pay tuition, point of sale, skills, certificates, private lessons, staff roles and lead follow-up — yes, in every plan, and two-way texting as a $4.99-a-month add-on. For recitals, costumes, ticketing, in-app chat and Zapier — no, not today. The table above lists both.
On the Unlimited plan at $79.99. Starter covers 150 active students and Growth covers 300, which is most single-room studios. Whatever plan you are on, every feature is included — the plans differ only in student cap, support level and migration help.
Studio Pro bundles lead capture and trial-to-enrollment automation with its SMS suite in the Elite package, so wanting any one of them means paying $165 a month for all of them. We built the lead pipeline and public trial-booking form into the core product, with automatic email follow-up. If you need the follow-up by text rather than email, Studio Pro is the one that does it.
Students with their contact details and the classes they are in, from the class export with Class Name ticked; parents with phones, email and address, from the parent export. Families are grouped by email, students are attached to them, and every current enrollment is recreated. You check what will be created before anything is written, and one click undoes the whole import.
Studio Pro's exports do not carry days, times, instructors or tuition, so each class arrives by name and you give it its schedule and monthly price once on the Classes page — or build a small class CSV from the sample on the import page and drop it in with the rest. Saved card details, attendance and payment history, and recital, costume and ticket records do not move.
Yes, on any switch between any two systems — saved card details are held by the payment processor and cannot be exported. Families add a card once in the parent portal; you can see who has and has not from the auto-pay list.
Every list exports to CSV on every plan, there is no notice period, and tuition lives in your own Stripe account, so nothing about your money depends on us. Cancel from the billing page whenever you like.
