Terms of use
Last updated October 14, 2026 (added company accounts)
These terms cover your use of Prodigy Suite at prodigysuite.co, which is run by Gintii AI Inc., an Ontario company (“we”, “us”). By using the audit or drafting tools you agree to them. If you use Prodigy Suite for a business, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms for it.
The most important part: Prodigy Suite is software, not a law firm. It does not give legal advice, and using it does not create a lawyer–client relationship. Have an Ontario employment lawyer review anything you plan to rely on or adopt.
1. What Prodigy Suite does
- Requirements checklist: from your answers, lists the Ontario workplace requirements that appear to apply to your business, with the law each is based on.
- Handbook review: compares a document you upload with that checklist and with Employment Standards Act minimums, and reports gaps.
- Policy drafting: where offered, drafts workplace policies from your answers for you to review, edit and adopt.
- Company account: a library of your policies and their versions, your employee list, sending policies to employees, recording their acknowledgments, and an inspector pack of those records.
2. Free use and limits
These tools are currently free. Daily limits apply to reviews and drafts. We may change, limit, suspend or stop any part of the service, including features offered as a preview or beta, at any time.
3. Not legal advice
- The checklist, reviews and drafts are general information about published Ontario requirements as of the date shown on them. They are not advice about your situation.
- Laws, regulations and government guidance change, and some rules depend on facts we don’t ask about, such as your industry’s special rules or what your employment contracts say.
- You decide what to do with the results. For decisions about your business, speak to an Ontario employment lawyer.
4. AI-generated results
Reviews and drafts are produced with an AI model and checked by our software, but they can still be wrong, incomplete or out of date. We don’t guarantee that following them makes your business compliant, or any particular outcome with an inspector, a tribunal, a court or an employee. Check every result before you rely on it.
5. Your content
- You keep ownership of the documents and answers you give us.
- You confirm you have the right to share them with us, including any personal information about other people they contain, and that they contain nothing unlawful.
- You allow us to process them, and to have our service providers process them, only to provide the service as described in our privacy policy. We don’t use them to train AI models.
6. Drafts we produce for you
You may use, copy and change the drafts we produce for you for your own business. A draft only becomes your policy when you have reviewed it, made it match how your business actually works, and adopted it. That decision, and the policy you adopt, are yours. We keep all rights in Prodigy Suite itself: the software, our requirements checklist, our instructions to the AI model, and the site’s content.
7. Company accounts and employees
- Keep access to your sign-in email secure. You are responsible for what is done in your account.
- You are responsible for the employee details you add, for having the right to give them to us, and for telling your employees that you use Prodigy Suite to share policies and record acknowledgments.
- Each employee’s link is private to them. If one may have been shared, replace it in the app.
- Acknowledgment records are evidence we keep for you. We don’t guarantee that an inspector, tribunal or court will accept them as sufficient. Keep the records the law requires you to keep; the inspector pack lets you download them at any time.
8. Acceptable use
Don’t use Prodigy Suite to break the law; upload malware or content you have no right to share; get around the daily limits or our security; access the service through automated tools or scraping; or copy our checklist or results to build a competing service. We may block access that does.
9. Other websites
Results link to government and other websites as sources. We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for their content.
10. No warranties
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties or conditions beyond those the law requires and does not allow us to exclude.
11. Limits on liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or fines, penalties, orders or awards made against you, or claims by your employees or others, arising from your use of the service or reliance on its results. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of CA$100 and what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. The courts of Ontario have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute about them.
13. Changes
We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with a new date. Using the service after that means you accept the updated terms.
