Citation’s subscription term is set in each client’s agreement; its public terms of use don’t state the length or the notice to cancel. Prodigy Suite renews a year at a time, and you can cancel any time before it renews.

Which fits your business

Citation may suit you better if you want unlimited expert advice by phone, a consultant-written policy manual, or an on-site inspection, and you’re comfortable getting a quote and agreeing a term.

Prodigy Suite may suit you better if you’re an Ontario employer who wants the paperwork done in software, at a price you can see before you talk to anyone, renewed one year at a time. You keep an employment lawyer for the hard cases, and Prodigy Suite keeps everything else current.

Whichever you choose, before signing any agreement ask for, in writing: the length of the term, how renewal works, the notice needed to cancel, and what happens to the price if your headcount changes.
